I’m an Enameller and Watercolour Artist.
My passion for watercolour started in my teens when I was supposed to be studying for my O Levels; I spent hours trying to emulate Constables landscapes and cathedrals I was inspired by my mum’s set of Constables plate mats. She still has my fake constables on her walls to this day.
I fell in love enamelling in my thirties. I discovered the traditional craft of fusing glass on metal in a kiln. I was instantly attracted to the many beautiful glass colours, the quick firing times, and constant visual surprises each time my work came out of the molten kiln.
When I’m enamelling or painting I become completely absorbed in my work. This stills my mind, keeps me focus and brings me an inner joy.
