Broken Yet Still Beautiful was created by a group of Centrepieces artists. What started off as a sketched out idea, became a beautiful piece of mosaic sculpture with 16 artists working on the group pieces and individual pieces by Karen Larkin, Neil Butler, Dawn Tomkins and Sue Turner. Supported and funded by the Sidcup Rotary Club, the artists were taught mosaic techniques which were then used to make the final sculpture piece.
The sculpture was unveiled by the Mayor and Mayoress of Bexley and David Lundie of the Rotary Club of Sidcup on 18 April 2019. It can still be seen in the gardens of Hall Place.
