Drawing the Line

Artists: Karen Larkin and Christie Cassisa

This project utilised the myriad of colours found amongst the autumn leaves that have fallen from the wonderful variety of trees grown in the grounds at Hall Place, and reflect the rich history of the environment here.

The artist Andrew Goldsworthy was a great inspiration through his use of naturally found colours and shapes in the environment.

Artists and members of the public combined efforts to collect the leaves, sort them into colour groups and carefully pin them onto this Yew hedge.

This art piece naturally fell away and decayed with time.
