I applied for a place at Goldsmiths College where I passed my Bachelor of Arts with honours. Throughout my artistic practice, my work has always involved animals and wildlife. I am most at peace when I am walking in nature observing the raw and wild honesty which I like to capture in my work. However, needing independence and a higher wage, I found myself working full-time and my art took more of a back seat. Without means of expressing myself, depression set in and took its toll. Through my recovery, Reinstate introduced me to Centrepieces where my creativity has flourished again. I feel that Centrepieces gives me the outlet that balances my life between work and creative expression.
