I’m 67 and have suffered depression and anxiety all my life, drink & drugs became my crutch to help me cope with life from the age of 14. I came out of hospital in August 2010, I knew this was my last chance & have been clean ever since. Oxleas mental health put me in touch with Centrepieces & I found art again, it’s played an invaluable part in my recovery, it helps keep out the rubbish in my head & put things in perspective. I owe a lot to Centrepieces & the people involved with it, I try to help out when I can.
