A powerful exhibition, “From Trauma to Recovery,” recently concluded at the Canvas and Cream gallery in Forest Hill, featuring the work of five Centrepieces female artists.
The exhibition was made possible with a modest budget from the artists’ SANE awards and additional support from Centrepieces, allowing the artists to secure the space and set up the show. Carla Guillen and Harriet Louth expertly curated the exhibition, bringing the artists’ vision to life.
A significant boost in visitor numbers came during a weekend that coincided with the HAVELOCK WALK STUDIOS. The exhibition saw good sales and successfully raised awareness on Mental Health, giving the artists a chance to connect with the public and share their personal stories behind the “From Trauma to Recovery” theme.
