I have always loved art and creating things since I could remember. In primary school I loved making arts and crafts with friends. In secondary school I took fine art as one of my GCSE’s which I got a grade 7 (my highest grade).
After leaving secondary school, I studied sports science at college where I struggled to make friends and became very lonely dealing with depression and anxiety. One of my hobbies at the time was woodworking when I was making a small signpost to put in the garden. I knew I wanted to paint something on it, so I decided to order an acrylic paint set on amazon. I also found old used hardboards in the garage and started watching YouTube tutorials on painting with acrylics.
After painting on hardboards, I started buying canvas to paint on. Being a huge Arsenal and football fan, my first painting was of Dennis Bergkamp. Since then, I have not looked back. I kept painting more and more getting better and have done lots of paintings which have made their way around the world. I feel painting has given me a meaning in life and has given me opportunities I wouldn’t have even thought of before.
