  • Congratulations to Lilani Dilrukshan

    We are thrilled to announce that our talented artist, Lilani Dilrukshan, has been awarded the runner-up prize for The Charles Bracken Award 2024 for her acrylic painting titled “By the Lake.” This prestigious award is part of the SANE Creative Awards Scheme and is presented each year to honor outstanding talent in illustrating the connection between creative accomplishments and mental health challenges.   • Saturday Craft Club

    Our Craft Club is held twice each month on Saturdays at the Pop Up, Sidcup from 10.30am-1pm and is open to the public. The cost is £2 pp.Bring your own Craft activity to do, or use our Paper Craft Packs which are available to buy. This is a social session with peers and occasional guided activities. Share ideas and techniques while enjoying a cuppa! (included in price)Children are welcome (7+) if accompanying an adult. Read more


  • King’s Award For Voluntary Service

    We are delighted that Centrepieces has been awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Voluntary Service. The award is the highest given to volunteer groups across the UK. In recognition of the award, Centrepieces will receive a certificate signed personally by King Charles III and a domed glass crystal. Two of Centrepieces’ volunteers will be invited to a royal garden party.   • The Mayor of Bexley chooses Centrepieces as one of his charities

    We are very excited and proud to announce that Centrepieces has been selected as one of the Mayor of Bexley’s charities of the year. The new Mayor for 2023/24 is Councillor Ahmet Dourmoush.  We were pleased to welcome the Mayor and the Mayoress, Mrs Elmaz Dourmoush, to our ‘Inner Me’ exhibition at the Erith Exchange in May.  Following this visit, we were selected as one of the Mayor’s charities of the year.   • The Deputy Mayor opens our new exhibition

    We were delighted that the Deputy Mayor of Bexley, Councillor Sue Gower MBE, opened our first exhibition in the new Pop Up gallery on Monday 10th May. The exhibition has the theme of Nature to complement Mental Health Awareness Week 2021. Councillor Gower viewed the exhibition and toured our artists’ workshops and expressed her admiration for the quality of the work and her appreciation of how Centrepieces supports its members.
