Why do people throw their waste around? Rubbish can often tell a story about how things are used and discarded. Everything has to be made and packaged, bought and consumed. Certain types of people use different things in different ways.
Here litter collectors try to make sense of the rubbish they have collected.
All of the items shown were tidied up in conjunction with The Great British Spring Clean, a national event where the general public unite in making Britain a cleaner place.
