Nadia Halliday

For as long as I can remember I’ve loved patterns and colours. I love putting blues and greens together and reds, oranges and pinks. My love of patterns made me realise links to maths, finally obtaining a 3rd in Civil Engineering at Brighton University.

I have had trouble with my mental health since childhood and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety in 2010. I have a new career teaching Maths now but can only do a few hours. Alongside teaching, I have been attending Credo ceramics, which has helped mend my mental wellbeing. Early in 2017 I had another emotional collapse at work. Fortunately, this gave me space to explore more of my artistic skills.

I love making Christmas presents and decorations. I am currently revisiting Celtic designs as well as working on my drawing skills and acrylics.
